At CareForAlbania, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of children in Albania.

One of our major projects for 2022 and 2023 has been to provide dental care for children on the spectrum or with sensory issues. These children require special dentists and surgeons who can perform procedures under anesthesia, as they are unable to sit in a regular dentist's chair.

Unfortunately, many of these children's teeth and mouths have been neglected due to financial issues and the high cost of anesthesia and travel to the capital city of Tirana, where the specialized care is located. To address this issue, we have collaborated with Dr. Ronald Xhako and Dr. Ina Xhako to provide dental care for these children.

They have helped fix over 20 teeth at a time, preventing infections and allowing the children to eat without discomfort. We are especially grateful to Professor, Dr. Ronald Xhako, who has worked tirelessly for up to 7 hours a day to help these children.

This project is dedicated in memory of Dr. Ardita Dalipi, one of the best dentists in the Albanian community and a close friend of our nonprofit's founder. She is no longer with us in the physical world, but her legacy lives on through our work. We will continue to honor her memory by providing much-needed dental care to children in Albania.
