At our nonprofit, we believe that our grandparents have been a strong force for us and our community and strive to help them live with dignity and respect, regardless of their age.

In Ersekë Albania, lives a woman named Lefteri Mydinit who with only 12,000 lek a month from assistance must support herself and her young children. Struggling to meet basic needs such as clothing food, and wood to keep them warm during the cold winter months life has been hard for her.

This is the story of a blind woman whose hardships are endless. Living all alone in place she calls her home that barely has a roof while fighting a disability has touched our hearts.
