Julianna Lee is a current high school senior from Massachusetts, planning to pursue an International Relations track in college. As the leader of several school clubs and organizations that examine the intersection of language, foreign affairs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, Julianna has experience in event management, fundraising, and community outreach.

After learning about her extended family’s roots in Korçë, Albania, and her great-grandfather's efforts to relocate and settle Albanian refugees, Julianna has interviewed local Albanians to compile their experiences from the Kosovo War and post-communist Albania.

She has also raised funds to hand-deliver to four centers in need in Korçë. This summer, she planned two fundraiser events to mobilize the New England community, gathering donations to provide for the Albanian elderly and offset the cost of transportation for Albanian youth with disabilities.

With Care for Albania, Julianna looks forward to continuing to expand opportunities for communities in Albania and nearby areas as well as for Albanian-Americans in the Northeast.
